Megan Boswell has another month of sitting on pins and needles.
Sullivan County District Attorney General Barry Staubus announced that he is waiting until January 22, 2021, to tell her if the death penalty will be the fate she suffers due to her alleged killing of her 15-month-old daughter Evelyn Boswell.
Due to the way things are looking, death is more than likely the fate she will have. It’s impossible for Megan Boswell to convince a jury of her peers or a judge that she’s innocent after she’s told a web of lies about the whereabouts of her dead toddler daughter whose dead body was found buried in Megan Boswell’s daddy’s backyard.
The heinousness of Megan Boswell’s act is so unconscionable that Judge James Goodwin raised her bond from $150,000 to $1 million, and the Sullivan County grand jury indicted her on 2 counts of felony murder knowing that her life would be the ultimate price that she could pay for the death of her 15-month-old toddler daughter, Evelyn Boswell.
Megan Boswell’s lawyer, Brad Sproles, is so concerned about her having to walk the river sticks of death that he has asked the court to move the trial out of Sullivan County, Tennessee, to another county.
Brad Sproles’ requests, like his client’s chances of seeing the light of day on the outside again, will be denied.
It doesn’t matter if the case is moved from Tennessee or to the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The facts of the case remain. And anybody, whether they be on dry land or the sea, will find her guilty with the ultimate punishment being death.
